D-I-Y Circle of Love Bracelet

I have another easy bracelet tutorial for you! I think I'm addicted to making bracelets now - I just can't get enough! I have so many bracelets now that I had to rearrange my jewelry armoire to make room for them all.

This one is so easy to make - even if you have no experience. I'm estimating the cost to be less than $3 (if you buy your supplies when they're 50% off), and construction time to be less than 10 minutes. I really love the one I made - it's another favorite, and I've already worn it several times.

You only need a few supplies for this bracelet:
  • chain to fit your wrist (similar here and here)
  • large lobster clasp (or a size that will hook onto your chain link)
  • one jump ring (in whatever size works with your chain & clasp)
  • a decorative ring (similar here and here - I saw a ton in the store!)
  • jewelry pliers to open/close the chain links

First, make sure that you have a length of chain that fits around your wrist. Since you'll be adding a large lobster clasp, be sure to take the length of that into consideration when measuring. (You can use any type of chain and clasp, but you need to make sure the chain links will fit around the decorative circle.) Separate the chain into two equal pieces.

Now, you're going to attach each piece of chain to the decorative circle. Just use the pliers to open up a link, attach the circle, then close the link. Repeat for the other length of chain. Also, if your pliers aren't padded, you'll want to be careful not to mar the finish of your chain.

And the last step is adding the lobster clasp (or whatever clasp you've chosen). Open the jump ring, slip the lobster clasp on, then attach it to one of the loose chain ends and close the ring.

That's it! Can you believe it's that easy?

Give it a try - and be sure to let me know how it turns out - I'd love to see a picture!
