D-I-Y Gift Jars

I made these gift jars for my nieces, but you could easily make them for anyone just by changing what you put inside. (LOL - I took the pictures before I trimmed the ribbon on the green jar - and didn't realize it until I edited them!)

I bought the jars at Hobby Lobby (if you catch them on sale, you can get a great deal!). They have a ton of different sizes and styles. I decided to etch their names on the jars (see the tutorial here), and fill them with things in their favorite colors.

My main gifts to them were the bracelets I made (see the tutorials here and here),

but I also gave each of them a pair of the earrings that I refashioned (see post here),

and bought fuzzy footies, gloves, nail polish, emery boards, and lip balm. They're also getting those cute notebooks & pens from Pick Your Plum (see post here).

After I filled the jars, I tied a ribbon around the lid and attached one of the Apple Cinnamon Orange Clove ornaments that I made (see tutorial here).

I hope they like them!!

    1. Thanks, Sheri! Thank goodness they loved them!! All three loved the bracelets, and one loved her jar so much she was thinking about making some of her own for the bathroom!

    1. Thanks so much! I've been wanting to make some more - I've been hoarding glassware that I pick up at Hobby Lobby and Michael's when it's 50% off!
