Institut Arnaud Anti-aging Perle & Caviar products now available at Walgreens! (Review)

Thank you to Institut Arnaud for providing complimentary products for this post. This is not a paid review, and all opinions are 100% mine, as always. There are no affiliate links in this post.

For the past several weeks, I've been trying out some skincare products from Institut Arnaud in Paris. And guess what? These products (and others) are now available at Walgreens!

Institut Arnaud Anti-aging Perle & Caviar products

I received a boxed set of three of the products in the Perle & Caviar line. This anti-aging line is for women over 30. The box contained: Prestige Treatment, Eye Contour Elixir, and Premium Global Day Cream.

tiny vials of skincare product

Perle & Caviar Prestige Treatment

From the Institut Arnaud website: "Prestigious treatment for cell renewal. Skin is immediately stimulated and intensively revitalized; its extreme smoothing effect gives an instantly sublime complexion. The extremely concentrated formula in this anti-aging treatment effectively combats wrinkles and durably lifts skin. A cellular longevity activator combined with powerful anti-aging elements boosts cell renewal and stimulates metabolic activity in the cells."

My favorite thing about the Prestige Treatment is that it's packaged in small vials, so I feel like the product is always fresh. I may be the only one who didn't know this, but did you know that if you pop the top off a vial, and you have leftover product, you can flip the top over and use it as a stopper for the vial?? I'm shook. The opened vial (with the cap) can be stored in the fridge for up to 72 hours.

tiny vial of clear skincare serum

This product is clear with a thin consistency, but it has enough of a serum quality that makes it easy to apply. It played well with all of my other skincare and makeup products. The instructions say to apply to face and neck, but I didn't apply it to my entire face. Instead I choose to spot-treat problem areas like under my eyes, between my eyes, nasolabial folds, and my neck. I decided to do it this way to make the product last longer since I only had five vials. The website also says to use it at night - I used it morning and night.

The five vials lasted about 21 days using it this way. The full-size product (10 vial box) is for a three week treatment, so I was able to make my five vials last twice as long as expected. I didn't notice a change in my skin, but I feel like I would need to use it for a much longer period of time to see changes. I did like the product and the way it made my skin feel. Unfortunately, it does contain fragrance. The fragrance is very light and pleasant, and didn't cause any irritation, but I still prefer fragrance-free products for my face.

Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Glyceryl Betaine/Polyacrylic Acid Esters, PPG-26 Buteth 26, Polysorbate 20, Glucosamine HCl, PEG-40, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Algae Extract, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract, Chlorophenesin, Hydroxypropyl Guar, Hydrolyzed Myrtus Communis Leaf Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Caviar Extract, Methylisothiazolinone, Hydrolyzed Pearl, Maris Sal (Sea Salt), Sorbic Acid, Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal.

The full-size product is packaged in boxes of ten 0.03 oz. vials, and sells for $48.50 at Walgreens. If you use them all over your face and neck, the ten vials are enough for a three week treatment. If you use it as I did, it should last twice as long.

roll-on bottle of eye elixir

Perle & Caviar Eye Contour Elixir

From the Institut Arnaud website: "Highly concentrated in active ingredients, this roll-on pen applicator is an expert in erasing the signs of fatigue. Eye contour skin is very quickly lifted; depth and volume of wrinkles are filled out. The "cooling" effect of the steel ball physically relieves eye contour congestion and simultaneously stimulates skin microcirculation. This eye contour treatment can be used on frown lines."

This was my favorite product of the three. I love eye products that have the steel ball roller applicator! It's such a great way to apply eye products without tugging on the delicate skin.

undereye product with rollerball

This elixir has a consistency similar to the Prestige Treatment. It glides easily over the undereye area and absorbs quickly. I have been using it twice daily for about 7 weeks, and I still have a little over half left. As you know if you've read some of my recent posts, I've been having issues with puffiness and dark circles. I do think my dark circles have lightened a little. They're not gone, but they're easier to cover. This product also helps with the morning puffiness as well. It's not an immediate fix, but after about 5-10 minutes, I can see a difference.

I like that this contains some peptides (Matrixyl 3000), and I already mentioned how much I like the cold rollerball. Like the Prestige Treatment, this contains fragrance. I haven't noticed a fragrance when applying, and I haven't experienced any irritation. My undereye area is very sensitive, so I was surprised there wasn't an issue. Again, I do prefer fragrance-free products for my face.

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Isohexadeccane, Polysorbate 20, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Chlorophenesin,Carbomer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hydroxide, Malachite Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Methylisothiazolinone, Ethylhexylglcerin, Caviar Extract, Hydrolyzed Pearl, Maris Sal (Sea Salt), Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Sodium Chloride, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7.

This product is packaged in a 0.5 oz. glass bottle with a steel rollerball. It sells for $44.50 at Walgreens. Using it twice daily as I have been, I feel it will last 3-4 months.

jar of skincare cream

Perle & Caviar Premium Global Day Cream

From the Institut Arnaud website: "Comprehensive, highly effective anti-aging skincare product. With caviar extract, this day cream provides vigor and vitality while effectively combating the signs of skin aging. Day after day, skin is smoothed and wrinkles disappear. Skin is perfectly moisturized, nourished and protected. Adding just a few drops of beneficial Perle & Caviar oil will boost the nourishing properties of this cream to meet the needs of even the driest skin, for made-to-measure care."

jar of facial cream

I have mixed feelings about this product. I like the consistency of it for providing a lot of hydration, and I like that it contains peptides (Matrixyl 3000). However, it is too heavy for me to use as a day cream, and it contains a good bit of fragrance. I could easily use it as night cream, but I really wish it was fragrance-free. For someone who doesn't have issues with fragrance, it could be a good option - either as a night cream (if you find creams too heavy for daytime use) or day cream (for those who need more moisture).

Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Isononyl Isononanoate, Glycerin, Isohexadeccane, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Tapioca Starch, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Mica, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), Diphenyl Dimethicone, Panthenol, Chlorophenesin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Fragrance, Polymethylsilsesquoxane, Carbomer, Malachite Extract, Polysorbate 20, Methylisothiazolinone,Caviar Extract, Hydrolyzed Pearl, Maris Sal (Sea Salt), Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone,Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxyide, Coumarin, Hydroxycitronellal, Geraniol, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Limonene, Phenoxyethanol.

This cream is packaged in a 1.7 oz. frosted glass jar, and sells for $55.50 at Walgreens. Using it once daily, it should last 2-3 months, depending upon how much you apply.
