Last Week on Instagram...Wk #10

Happy Monday!! How was your weekend? Gus and I spent most of Saturday chasing down a pair of shoes that I just had to have...In my defense, they're super cute and soooo comfy!! Don't worry, I'll be posting the entire adventure on the blog - it's too good not to share!

Now let's catch up on last week's Instagram...


This is one of the sports bras I purchased at Target with the 40% off coupons I received from Influenster as part of the C9 Target VirtualVox. We were allowed to print four coupons to use on the C9 Champion® Power Core® Compression and Power Shape sports bras, so I used all four! It was a great deal, and I may do a blog post about the different styles. I bought three for myself and one for Lulu. The one pictured above is the Power Core® Compression Vent sports bra. I love the colors they offer, and that it has an adjustable band and straps. I don't really consider it a "compression" bra, but I wear a DD, so it really takes some super spandex to compress these ladies. It is a comfortable bra and offers enough support to walk on the treadmill or use the recumbent bike - or just wear around the house.


I have been on a planner sticker buying hiatus, but picked up a few new sticker sheets in the past couple of weeks. These are my St. Paddy's Day and Easter sheets, and they're from a new (to me) shop, Lexie Kylee Designs. I fell in love with them the minute they arrived! The colors and designs are just amazing! This shop is a new favorite for sure!


This cat. It's all his. Everything. He is the sassiest cat that has ever owned me. Literally. I think it's a Maine Coon thing. He has different meows for different things. And he will actually scold me and talk back to me. Of course, if it was coming from one of my kids, it wouldn't be so funny, but from him? It's hilarious.


I had to go for a Cardiac Calcium Scan on Wednesday, and Buddy had a doctor appointment for his shoulder (they think he's having rotator cuff issues), but we had time for lunch in between, so we went to P.F. Chang's. We hadn't been there for awhile, so I was excited to go back. I'm not sure that I'm happy with the changes they've made in the menu though - and it seems like the quality of the food has gone downhill a little. But I loved the fortune that was inside my fortune cookie! However, I don't have to wait to have things to be thankful for in my life - I've already been blessed beyond measure. "It's not happy people who are thankful - it's thankful people who are happy!"


I have heard so many good things about Real Techniques brushes and beauty blending sponge that I decided to give them a try. I ordered mine from Amazon, and they arrived the other day. I got the Expert Face Brush , Blush Brush , and Miracle Complexion Sponge (which is like the BeautyBlender). I'll be giving these a test drive and then doing a review on the blog, so stay tuned for that! If you've tried them, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

And these are the gorgeous flowers that Gus brought home to me the other day. It was so funny, because I had been taking photos for the blog earlier that day, and was thinking that if I had some fresh flowers, the shots would've looked better. But I was too lazy to run to the store. I never said anything about it, but he came home with flowers! After almost 30 years, this isn't the first (or even the tenth!) time that he has read my mind. We call and text each other at exactly the same time ALL THE TIME. Sometimes, we'll be discussing something, then start to say something totally random, and the random thing will be the same thing. It's freaky. Does this ever happen to you?
