There are several breweries in Dunedin, and one we visited was Dunedin Brewery. Near downtown Dunedin, it's within easy walking/biking distance of many places. It also has the distinction of being Florida's oldest craft brewery.
Being of Scottish descent, I fell in love with this place. Of course, the national flag of Scotland is displayed (the Saltire), as well as the "unofficial" Lion Rampant. You can also see some tartans hanging above the fermentors.
Over the entrance, you can see the word "Slà inte" (pronounced SLANJ-uh, but sometimes shortened to SLANJ), which means "(to your) health". (I always say Slà inte mhath (SLANJ-uh va), which translates to "good health".)
Over the bar area, you can see various items including awards won by Dunedin Brewery and some of the merchandise available for purchase. We each bought a shirt, and Buddy picked up a pint glass for his collection.
We sat inside, but there are a couple of outdoor areas available as well. Unfortunately, I don't have photos of those. There were a lot of people out there and I didn't want them to feel like I was taking photos of them.
Gus and I shared a flight, while Buddy had one of his own. I enjoyed all of the ones in our flight - especially Batten Down, because you know I love those Berliners! But I gotta tell you - I really liked the Winter Home winter ale and The Ferguson ancient herbed ale. Nice winter choices.

They also have pub grub available, which I appreciate because I like to nibble while I drink. They have appetizers/snack plates and a few sandwiches served with fries. We had the Pretzel Bites with Ale Mustard, and they were delicious.
Of course, we plan to come back to Dunedin Brewery next time we're in the area, and hopefully we can try a couple of the other breweries here as well. Just so you know how serious we are about loving this little town - we've moved it to the top of our "Where Gus and Kim Want to Live When Gus Retires" list. If you love quaint little towns, definitely check out Dunedin - and, of course, Dunedin Brewery!
