Product Review: Sudden Change Under-Eye Firming Serum

I know I may only look 29, but I'm really 30.

Ha! In my dreams, maybe.

In case you don't already know, I turned 53 on my last birthday, and I'm okay with that. I think one of the reasons that I don't mind being 53 is that most of the time, people think that I'm younger. But, every year, I fight harder to stay that way.

One of the areas that tends to show my age the most is my under-eye area. I've started to experience some dark circles, which is new for me. And then there are the lines, the "crepe-y" skin, and the weird phenomena of both puffiness and sunken areas. Lovely!

Product Review: Sudden Change Under-Eye Firming Serum - does it really reduce under-eye bags, lines, and wrinkles in just 3 minutes?

I was given the opportunity to try Sudden Change Under-Eye Firming Serum, which is a product that works in just 3 minutes to reduce the appearance of under-eye bags, wrinkles, and dark circles. You know how skeptical I am of products like this - but I'm always willing to take one for the team and give it a try.

This product comes in a small glass bottle with a dropper top. It's very watery, but it becomes tacky and dries quickly once it's on your skin. You're supposed to leave your under-eye area clean and dry - no moisturizer or eye creams - and you can either apply the serum alone or mix 1 drop of foundation with 2 drops of Sudden Change.

Because of my slight dark circles, I mixed 2 drops of Sudden Change with 1 drop of my foundation. I applied quickly with my pinky finger to my under-eye area - inner corner to outer corner. I could feel the skin tighten as the product dried - but you have to remember not to move your face/eye until the 3 minutes are up.

In my before picture, you can see my bare, 53-year-old under-eye area. I'm actually a little queasy looking at it. See what I put myself through for you guys? In the after picture, I have applied 2 drops of Sudden Change mixed with 1 drop of my foundation - then waited 3 minutes while it dried. That's it. My dark circles are lighter and the lines are less noticeable.

What do you think? Can you see a difference?

Because this product dries so quickly, it definitely has a learning curve. I recommend just sitting down in front of your makeup mirror with a soft damp cloth, Sudden Change, your foundation, and just practicing until you figure it out how to best apply it to your skin. Once I had the application down, I could definitely see a difference without looking like I had put something under my eyes.
