I recently received a jar of Reese's Spreads from Influenster. PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE, folks. Those of you who know me personally or who follow me on Instagram know that one of my
Well, I didn't hate it.
We were supposed to "create" pairings with it. Pairings with fruit, cookies, breads, and whatever. Make up new creations. I wonder if a spoon counts as a pairing?
CONFESSION: I ate the entire jar with a spoon in just a few days.
I went out and bought a second jar, with every intention of using it to make some creative pairings. Does using different types of spoons count as creative?
I decided to just go ahead and do my review. Because obviously, I'm never going to get beyond eating it with a spoon.
Reese's Spreads tastes like someone took a bunch of Reese's Easter eggs, put them in the blender, and made them into a jar of peanut butter chocolate heaven for your taste buds. I'm craving some just talking about it.
It smells divine - just like a Reese's peanut butter cup. It's creamy - perfect for scooping out of the jar with a spoon (or a knife, if you're so inclined). It's easily licked off of the spoon - and spreads easily with a knife (because apparently some people have more willpower than me). It also travels well. I took mine on a little road trip and it was perfect for a snack in the car. I just scooped out a spoonful (okay, maybe two) and no mess, no fuss. Just a lot of talking myself out of a third spoonful.
In case you can't tell, I really like it. I recommend it if you like peanut butter and chocolate. If you're thinking of buying me a gift and don't know what to get, this would be a lovely idea.
I will leave you with a tip: Always have an extra jar handy.
(Disclaimer: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. But as always, any opinions stated here are 100% my own.)
