The day before Valentine's Day, Gus surprised me with this:
How cute is that? All my favorite candy - and the vase was filled with Hershey's Kisses & Reese's Hearts!
Then on Valentine's Day, he brought me these (right before he took me out to dinner!):
Gigi's Cupcakes!! Best. Cupcakes. Ever.
Yummy, adorable, mini cupcakes!!!
And when we got home from dinner, there were flowers waiting on the porch!!
I thought they were from Gus, but he said they weren't. I thought he was kidding, but he wasn't - and then I could tell he was getting a little huffy. Especially when the card had my name on it. :-)
Turns out they were from a friend (female!) who lives in California. She recently sold her website/forum, and I was one of the messageboard moderators for the past several years (Maybe 10? Yikes!). So the flowers were a "thank you". How incredibly nice was that?
