How to Make the Best Homemade Granola Ever!

My homemade granola is a favorite around our house. Buddy is always asking me to make it. There are a couple of great things about it:
  • it's really easy to make!
  • it's really easy to change it up and add the things you like best!

I shared this recipe on my old blog back in 2010, and I also shared it here in 2012, but I recently redid the pictures and updated the post a little, so I thought I would bump it up to the top and give it a little love!

Store in an airtight container.

Tips:

You can add just about anything you want to the granola. I added ground flax seed, walnuts, dried cranberries, dried blueberries, and extra raisins to my mix. You can also add other flavorings such as fruit juices or extracts.

Also, if you prefer your granola to be chewier, you can let it air dry rather than bake it in the oven. If you dry your granola, you can add fruit any time - if you bake it, you should wait until after the granola is baked & cooled before adding fruit.
