Fysiko Eyelash Growth Serum: 16 Weeks to Longer, Thicker, and Darker Lashes!

Sixteen weeks ago, I was offered the opportunity to try Fysiko's Eyelash Growth Serum. Immediately, I was intrigued, because I've always hated my eyelashes. They're virtually invisible: pale blonde, short, and stubby. So my first question was "What is it and how does it work?"

Here's the scoop:
According to the website, Fysiko Eyelash Serum makes eyelashes and eyebrows longer, fuller, and darker. It even adds curl. It was created by a dermatologist who was frustrated with her eyelashes, and is made with natural ingredients here in the US. All you need to do is apply once daily to the upper lash line and in 4-6 weeks, you should see fuller and longer lashes, with them doubling in length and fullness in 8-12 weeks, and seeing full results in 16 weeks.

Heard of Latisse? Can't afford it? Wonder how Fysiko compares?
Well, first of all, as I mentioned, Fysiko's product is made with all natural ingredients. This means it doesn't require a prescription. Latisse requires a doctor visit ($$), and a prescription that isn't covered by insurance ($$). Some Latisse users have experienced a darkening of the skin along the lash line application site as a "side effect". But to me, this is the most amazing (and convincing) fact: Latisse comes in a 3ml size that lasts 1 month, with an average price of $125 + the doctor visit. Fysiko is available in an 8ml tube that lasts 6-8 months for $139.

Of course, the bottom line, as with all products, is does it work? Well, they say a picture is worth 1,000 words, so let me show you my before and after pictures:

This is a picture of my lashes without anything on them. The only difference in the before and after is that I have a little eyeshadow and liner on in the after picture. You can see that after 16 weeks of using Fysiko daily, my lashes are thicker and darker. Since the tips are so blonde, you can't really judge the length.

This is another picture without anything on my lashes. Again, you can tell that they're thicker and darker, but you can't really see the length.

These pictures are before and afters with the same lash primer and mascara on in all pictures. Darker. Fuller. And longer!! I would say that they've definitely grown at least 1/4" over the past 16 weeks! Amazing!

My experience:
Before Fysiko, my lashes were very pale blonde, short, and stubby. They were resistant to curl and mascara didn't stay on very well, even with a primer. Most of the time, a couple of hours after applying makeup, you couldn't even tell I had eyelashes.

After using Fysiko for 16 weeks, my lashes are darker (mostly from base to mid-lash), thicker, and longer. They still don't like to curl or hold mascara (I'm back to experimenting with different brands/combinations), but at least after a couple of hours, you can still tell I have eyelashes!

Some people saw results within the first 2 weeks. I didn't really see significant growth until about the 8 week mark. So if you try this product and don't see results right away, I recommend sticking with it. And take pictures! You won't realize how they're growing (because you look at them everyday) unless you document it with photos. If you would like to see my monthly progress, you can check it out here: 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks

Will I keep using it?
According to the website, once you achieve maximum growth, you can maintain the growth by using the product 2-3 times per week. By my calculations, that means a tube should last at least a year. I normally wouldn't keep an eye product that long, but since this is applied to clean skin (and I'm very, very careful with the applicator and tube), I feel okay with keeping this product that long. That works out to about $10/month - so yes, I will most likely keep using it.

Where is it sold?
Fysiko Eyelash Growth Serum is available at Amazon for $139 plus shipping. You can also purchase it directly from Fysiko for $139 plus shipping (around $5). If you purchase through their website, you can use the coupon code sverve20, and receive 20% off your order (valid through Dec. 31, 2013) and brings the price down to $111.20 (plus shipping).

I love my new lashes!! What do you think? Are you going to try it?

  1. So happy it worked out for you!
I use Latisse. It definitely lasts me longer than a month though. I apply each day for about 2-weeks and then a couple times per week. I've tried others that wouldn't work for me.
    Happy jump Day!
