D-I-Y Love Charm Bracelet

love (luv) n.v. - a passionate feeling of affection for another person.

One day when I was at Hobby Lobby, I saw the cutest "love definition" connector charm and thought it was really cute. I knew I would be using it for a bracelet at some point. Then a few weeks later, I found the little "love tag" charm and thought they would be cute together.

So I gathered up my supplies and got to work...

What I used:

Instructions:
  1. Measure the leather cord to equal twice the circumference of your wrist, then cut into two equal pieces.
  2. Take one piece and loop it so that the ends are even on one end & the loop is on the other.
  3. Push the loose cord ends through the bottom of one of the openings on the "love definition" connector, and pull them out through the top, inserting them through the loop to make a knot. Keep the ends of the cord even, and pull them tight to make a secure knot.
  4. Repeat for the other side.
  5. Put the bracelet around your wrist and cut the cords to fit - keeping them equal on each side of the connector. You can make it as tight or as loose as you like.
  6. Put a drop of cement in one cord end cap and push one set of cords into it as far as they will go.
  7. Repeat for other side, and allow cement to dry.
  8. Attach "love tag" charm to one of the rings on the clasp.

Total cost of bracelet - $2.88

I'm really pleased with the results! I think I'll remove the extender because I don't need it (I just bought the clasp with it because it was the only one that also had cord end caps attached) - or I might just remove part of it and add another tiny charm - like a heart!
