Tuesday Brewsday: Six Ten Brewing - Tampa, Florida

It's Tuesday Brewsday!

When we were in Tampa a couple of months ago, we managed to squeeze in visits to a couple of breweries. (It was high on the to-do list, right after "visit the beach".)

One we visited was Six Ten Brewing. It's located in a small strip mall close to Tampa International Airport. I apologize for the dark grainy picture below, but it was night (obviously) and there wasn't much light in the parking lot.

It's fairly small, but it has a great feel. We were there in December, so it was decorated for Christmas. There's a decent amount of seating inside, and there is also outdoor seating available.

Buddy and I were thrilled to see a couple of (sour) Berliner Weisse offerings - their CBGBs. (Cool Beautiful Groovy Beer) They had Cranberry and Raspberry, and both were deliciously tart. Flights include eight 4 oz. beers, and you can obviously do full pours as well as growler fills.

They don't have a kitchen, but they do have snacks. On Friday's they have a food truck from 5-9pm. You can also have food delivered there if snacks aren't enough. And they're pet-friendly, so you can bring your best friend.

They have some really cool merchandise! Unfortunately, we weren't able to get anything on this trip since we were flying home and already had overstuffed suitcases from exchanging Christmas gifts. Definitely will be picking up a t-shirt and pint glass next time!

All three of us really enjoyed Six Ten, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a "must-do" next time we're in Tampa. I highly recommend it!

(Tip: We were looking for it after dark, and with the foliage surrounding the parking lot, we missed the turn in. So if you're the type of person who gets bent out of shape easily by missed turns (I'm looking at my husband), you might want to either visit or at least take a trip past it during daylight hours so you know where you're going. GPS wasn't very helpful as usual. It took us to the next street over.)
