Product review: Jordana Best Length Extreme Mascara

A few weeks ago, I picked up a tube of Jordana Best Length Extreme Lengthening Mascara at Walgreens. If you're a "viewer", then you've read about my issues with my eyelashes,  and my results with Fysiko Eyelash Growth Serum.


The brush is plastic with little "spikes" that remind me of Sonic the Hedgehog. The consistency of the mascara is about average - not particularly thick or thin.


Before application, I curled my eyelashes and applied Shiseido Nourishing Mascara Base. I had a little trouble applying the mascara. The "spikes" are spaced so that a lot of mascara is trapped around the brush at the base of the spikes - and this mascara tend to go on in globs. So I had to practically wipe the brush clean before I could apply the mascara without it clumping my lashes. I don't like to do this, because I feel it wastes a lot of mascara - but at least the Jordana mascara is inexpensive.

Now the question was - how will it wear throughout the day?

As you can see, after 6 hours, most of the mascara was under my eyes and not on my eyelashes.


Repurchase? Um, no. As a matter of fact, I gave this one to my daughter. If she doesn't like it, it's going in the trash.

Is it so much to ask for a mascara that goes on easily, doesn't clump, and lasts more than a couple of hours?
